Since my husband went to heaven I wanted to over-strive to make things better and may have gastritis...lots of burning unless I use Prilosec, etc. I found that cooking barley (using a method similar to cooking rice or oatmeal) and eating the barley, plain, by itself....really blesses/soothes!! I prayed today you wouldn't have tummy stresses...love, Leslie. Thank you ever so much for how very wonderful you are and how very helpful your programs are. God bless you all/your families/ministries the very best always!!

Melinda, I hear you. I have one child who I am especially needing to turn over to the Lord, but each of our four have some thing in their lives that I’d like to see God change or work on and that I just have to trust Him for. This Sunday my husband was visiting another church to preach and I accompanied him. He spoke on Jehoshaphat. When Ammon, Moab and Mount Seir came to fight against them, he went to the Lord and the prophet of God told him, “You need not fight in this battle; station yourselves, stand and see the salvation of the Lord on your behalf.” That was a word of God to me for the “battle” I’m in. Not that I should stop praying or loving, but I need to let God do the work.

My husband and I listen to Moody Radio all of the time. Today, we were in the car and listening to your program and it was the most depressing program I have ever heard on a Moody Radio program. My husband was totally surprised of how the conversation was going. None of you ever mentioned how Jesus could help a person go through depression. We only heard all of you complaining about the season of life. I am not saying that a person does not get depressed or perplexed but God's word is the answer to life's problems, do you agree? The word does tell us to do all things without murmuring and complaining. In the future, I strongly recommend using God's word when you casually talking about such a serious subject. God's word heals in any area of our lives. I am a witness of his healing.
